Ionian Islands Regional Authority collecting basic necessities to send to earthquake victims

CORFU. The Ionian Islands Regional Administration is sending humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The Ionian Islands Regional Administration is calling on members of the public to donate foodstuffs and other basic necessities to be sent to victims of the earthquakes in turkey and Syria.

"The Ionian Islands Regional Administration is sending humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria in solidarity and support for their huge ordeal.

There will be collections on all the islands in the region of long-life foodstuffs, basic necessities and healthcare items. We call on on members of the public as well as groups and organisations on the islands to support this effort.

All the items collected will be handed over to the Hellenic Red Cross so that they can be sent to the victims safely and securely."

tinned goods of all kinds Sanitary care items for children and adults
Cereals  
   

The collections will be at the Regional offices on the islands from Monday 13th to Friday 24th February 10:00-14:00.
