Works for improvement of children΄s playgrounds to begin on 16 January

The Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros stated the following regarding the schedule of works for the improvement of the children's playgrounds:
 
"The current Municipal Authority has been closing wounds from the past for three years now. One of them is the children's playgrounds, which, as Mayor Meropi Ydraiou promised, will be improved.
 
These are the playgrounds in Karteria, Potamos, Kompitsi, Old Port, Benitses, Ipsos, Upper Square and Sokraki.
 
The contract for the improvement works was signed with the contractor in August. The works will begin in the first days of 2023 and will be completed in January. The contractor assured that from the signing of the contract until today the necessary infrastructure materials and equipment for the improvement of the playgrounds have been ordered.
 
We are working every day for the Municipality and the citizens, implementing projects that improve our daily life and our lives.
 
I am presenting the detailed schedule to inform the citizens of when the works will begin and what kind of works will be carried out exactly:
