Another two resignations at Corfu Hospital

Another two resignations were handed in at Corfu Hospital today - radiologists Dimitriou and Panaouridis. Along with previous doctors they also decided to leave due to the heavy workload and lack of personnel.

These follow the recent series of resignations which has now become a matter of concern for the Ministry of Health. It is not yet known what measures will be taken to cover the shortages.

There has been talk at the hospital of other doctors also wanting to resign or not renew their contracts at the end of the year.
