Sinies Mushroom Festival a great success once again

CORFU. Mushroom lovers from Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus and the rest of Greece took part in this year΄s event.
Sinies Educational and Cultural Society organised the 5th Mushroom Festival in Sinies on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November in collaboration with Corfu Mushroom Lovers Society and the Greek Mushroom Lovers Society.
The festival included outings to collect and identify mushrooms, truffle hunting with truffle hunting dogs, presentations on mushrooms and an art and craft exhibition on the subject of mushrooms by local primary and nursery schools.
Mushroom lovers from Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus and the rest of Greece took part in this year΄s event.
There was an exhibition onsite with paintings and handcrafts by local primary and nursery school pupils.
The event had the support of the Ionian Islands Regional Administration, North Corfu Municipality, Sinies local council, Greek Mushroom Lovers Society, Kassios Dias and local accommodation owners, who put up visitors from abroad and the rest of Greece.
