CORFU. There is no sign of foul play.
Police found a 53-year-old man dead in his home in Lofo Koyevina this morning.
His mother had been unable to contact him and called the police, who were able to gain entry to the house with the assistance of a locksmith. They found the man's dead body there but there was no sign of foul play.
The man had apparently been suffering from health problems and the police are conducting an investigation into the death. The body was taken to Corfu Hospital, where an autopsy will be carried out.
