Restoration of Anemomylos beacon to begin immediately

CORFU. The work aims to eliminate the danger of accidents.
Central Corfu Municipality is expected to begin work on the restoration of the Anemomylos beacon following the damage it has suffered.
There was an inspection by the responsible Navy department today following a request from Anemomylos Cultural Society.
Present at the inspection were Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros, Officer Papakyritsis from the Navy and representatives from Anemomylos Cultural Society.
"We would like to give warm thanks to Central Corfu Municipality and the Navy for their immediate response," said Society President Pantelis Kontos in a post on social media.
