CORFU. Corfu police carried out a series of spot checks on Tuesday morning, 06:00-12:00.
Police carried out checks for the following on Tuesday morning:
- Theft and burglary
- Dangerous driving
- Drug dealing
- Illegal immigrants
219 vehicles and 357 individuals were checked, leading to the arrest of one person for illegal residence.
There were 53 driving offences and four vehicles were immobilised due to the drivers not having driving licences.
