CORFU. With thirty works from the Sotiris Felios Collection and two from the artist΄s personal collection, on display for the first time, the female form is presented in a variety of ages, poses and moments.
The opening of the Giorgos Rorris art exhibition "Woman" was held at the Municipal Art Gallery on Friday 8 April.
With thirty works from the Sotiris Felios Collection and two from the artist΄s personal collection, on display for the first time, the female form is presented in a variety of ages, poses and moments. Giorgos Rorris' work presents modern woman as she really is, without idealising or glamorising her.
Along with Giorgos Rorris, the collector Sotiris Felios and artist Stefanos Daskalakis were also present. Central Corfu Mayor Meropi, local authority representatives and many art lovers also attended the opening.
The exhibition is being held in the Periodic Exhibitions section of the gallery in the Colonnade.
Duration: until 31 May
Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00-16:00 (Closed on Mondays and public holidays)
Admission free
Admission requires either a vaccination certificate or recovery certificate and the use of a mask. Children aged 4-17 can produce a negative self test result from within 24 hours.
