4th Sea Scout group welcomes Ukrainian cubs and scouts

CORFU. They made wind chimes with the words "όνειρα, dreams, мрії" for them to take away.
The 4th Sea Scout group organised a special event at Faliraki on Saturday evening. They welcomed Ukrainian cubs and scouts, brought here by current circumstances, and made them members - demonstrating the spirit of 'Be Prepared'.
With plenty of love and imagination they found games to play in which they didn't need to know the language. They made wind chimes with the words "όνειρα, dreams, мрії" for them to take away. With everyone's help, the scout leader distributed food and arranged for them to visit a paediatrician at no charge.
Kostas Karabatsos said, "We are blessed to be able to welcome these children who find themselves here due to the current circumstances and as well as the love and joy given to the children, it is also a big gift for the others.."
