Greek National Tourism Organisation’s new advertising campaign for City Breaks

ATHENS. It started with Athens and Thessaloniki. More cities will follow – including Corfu. The campaign highlights the beautiful side of life in the big cities, the side that every visitor can enjoy on a weekend.

The Greek National Tourism Organisation (ΕΟΤ) invites travellers to enjoy a greekend*, i.e. an authentic Greek weekend in the major cities of Greece.
 
The Ministry of Tourism and EOT’s new campaign, with the message “greekend: End your week like a Greek”, which is the motto of the main “All you want is Greece” campaign, highlights the beautiful side of life in Greek cities and the rich experiences that visitors can enjoy during a greekend*.


 
The campaign highlights the beautiful side of life in the big cities, the side that every visitor can enjoy on a weekend. They can wake up in a sunny city and have all the time they want to experience its beauties: museums, walks on the beach, coffee in outdoor cafes, delicious food, art exhibitions, shopping destinations, entertainment venues – a weekend that has it all!
 
The new EOT advertising campaign will last for two months and will initially target ten countries that have shown particular interest in Greece, including France, Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Israel. The campaign will be repeated frequently throughout the year.
 
The new “City Break” campaign aims to establish the new greekend* concept and promote all major Greek cities that have connections with international airports and can support a successful City Break.
 
The creative and the production of the campaign is a donation of the Onassis Foundation to the Ministry of Tourism.
