Dog rescued after falling from precipice in Agios Stefanos Avliotes

CORFU. There was a 4-hour rescue operation for a small dog that fell from a precipice in Agios Stefanos Avliotes.
Firefighters and the Search & Rescue Team (EMED) carried out a rescue operation for a small dog on Sunday night. The dog had fallen from a precipice in Agios Stafanos Avliotes and after four hours, the rescuers were able to bring it to safety.
According to the firefighters, it was a difficult operation as the small dog had fallen to a great depth in an area with difficult access.
All ended well and the rescuers were able to hand over the dog to its owner safe and sound.
