Temporary heated accommodation in Koulines for homeless in cold weather

CORFU. Heated accommodation available for the homeless from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 January.

Central Corfu Municipality has announced that according to the Greek Meteorological Service low temperatures are expected over the next few days in the area.

For this reason, heated accommodation will be available at Municipal premises in Koulines on Thursday 20, Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January to provide temporary shelter for the homeless and others in need.

The heated accommodation will be available from 20:00 to 08:00 and is locatedin the municipal building which houses the Civil Protection Department in Koulines.

The premises are in Corfu Town and are easily accessible by bus (nos. 8 and 11 to Koulines bus stop) or on foot.

All those using the facility must adhere to Covid measures.

2. Municipal Community Shop & Kitchen at Mitr. Methodiou & Kolokotroni 3

3. Community Centre in St. Desylla St. next to the Municipal Theatre.

Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality is collaborating with volunteers from the Corfu branch of the Hellenic Red Cross to provide space with heating whenever there are low temperatures.
