Corfu 2nd Childcare Centre closed due to Covid cases

CORFU. 18 Covid cases at primary and secondary schools.
Corfu 2nd Childcare Centre has been closed since yesterday due to a child and a teacher testing positive for Covid.
The Centre will remain closed for 10 days, according to the protocol. Childcare centres in Perivoli and Ag.Mathaios as well as the 3rd Childcare Centre in Corfu have also closed recently due to Covid cases.
The President of Corfu Social Protection & Solidarity Maria Zervou told Enimersoi that there has only been a limited number of cases at these facilities since the beginning of the school year.
There have been more cases at Corfu schools today.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department, 10 primary school pupils have tested positive for Covid as well as 18 secondary school pupils and a teacher.
Classes are continuing as normal and none have been suspended.
