CORFU. The number of hospital admissions of Covid patients continues to increase.
The number of Covid admissions at Corfu Hospital continues to increase.
According to hospital sources, there are 24 patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit, 13 in the Pulmonary Clinic and there were 2 admissions to the ICU last night (17/11) - two men aged 72 and 79 - taking the number of ICU patients up to four.
No sooner are some beds made available, than they are filled again - 4-5 patients were discharged yesterday but their beds were immediately taken by new admissions.
According to the hospital, the days-old baby that had been hospitalised in the Covid Unit has been discharged.
