Federation of Manufacturing & Trading Professionals satisfied with vaccination rate in Corfu

The Corfu Federation of Manufacturing & Trading Professionals announcement:
 
According to EODY data, more than 75,000 residents will be fully vaccinated by the end of November. If the number of people infected to date is taken into account, as well as the number of people up to 18 years of age, the percentage of the vaccinated population is well above the national average.
 
This shows that our fellow citizens, professionals and workers are fully aware of the necessity of vaccination and they know that it is the most powerful weapon currently available against the pandemic.
 
Everyone deserves congratulations, because this overall effort to adhere to the measures creates a shield that protects the citizens’ health and provides optimism for the next tourist season. And that’s because the high vaccination rate creates a climate of safety for tourists, especially from northern and western European countries, which are the main visitors during the summer months.
 
The Corfu Federation of Manufacturing & Trading Professionals Board asks that everyone continues the efforts. It also asks those who have not been vaccinated to do so immediately and those who have been vaccinated to receive the next doses. Lastly, it asks everyone to adhere to the measures.
 
If we continue the efforts, together, healthy and strong, we will succeed.
