CORFU. More cases of Covid-19 amongst school pupils were recorded in Corfu today.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department, four primary school pupils tested positive along with three secondary school pupils.
Pupils who don't have a vaccination or recovery certificate are obliged to provide a negative self test twice a week, taken on Tuesday and Friday, before being allowed to participate in lessons.
Up to now, no classes have been closed as the new protocol is that a class should close only if 50% plus 1 of the pupils have tested positive for Covid.
The number of positive Covid cases amongst all Ionian Islands pupils is 20 and there are also teachers who have tested positive.
