CORFU. The Special Infectious Diseases Unit remains under pressure.
Another Covid patient, an 83-year-old man, died in Corfu Hospital ICU this morning.
The Special Infectious Diseases Unit remains under pressure with the number of patients over the last few days not dropping below 20. The second Covid Unit also remains in use.
Today, Tuesday 31st, there are 26 patients in the two units - 23 in the first and 3 in the second - including one tourist.
There is one patient in the ICU and one other was transferred to the Special Infectious Diseases Unit. The majority of the patients are unvaccinated.
