PATRAS. Doctors express cautious optimism.
The doctors are cautiously optimistic about the condition of the 27-year-old Corfu woman who is hospitalised at Patras University Hospital. The young woman, after several days of being intubated due to her critical condition, is no longer intubated since last Saturday and her state of health is better.
A few days after the young woman had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in Corfu, she developed severe symptoms – difficulty in movement, limb paralysis and falls. As a result, she was admitted to Corfu Hospital.
However, following examinations and treatment, her condition was judged to be especially serious and it was decided to transfer her to Rio University Hospital, where she was hospitalised with severe thrombosis in the abdominal blood vessels. However, her condition worsened rapidly and the doctors considered it necessary to intubate her.
