Saranda-Corfu ferry service resumes

SARANDA. After being suspended for one and a half years the Saranda-Corfu ferry service will begin to operate again in July.
The announcement was made by the Albanian Economy Minister Anila Denaj, who said that the service will start operating again on 5 July.
"From 5 July, the trips from Saranda to Corfu will officially restart," said Ms. Denaj. "This is expected to be a positive factor for the progress of the tourist season. This was made possible thanks to the measures taken by the Albanian Government for the management of the pandemic and the mass vaccination of the population."
