CORFU. The numbers remain low at the new Mega vaccination centre.
There were only 180 appointments today at the centre at the National Sports Centre which has 10 vaccination streams administering the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine. The original aim was to have 700 a day.
There were 550 vaccinations on the first day of operation, Monday 31 May, and since then there has been a low number of people coming. On Tuesday there were 180, on Wednesday 114 and on Thursday 150. The majority are foreign nationals and young people over 18.
