Association of Corfu Travel Agents sends letter of condolence for Prince Philip΄s death

CORFU. The Association of Corfu Travel Agents (AOCTA) has sent a letter of condolence to the British Embassy and British Vice-Consulate in Corfu.
AOCTA sent the following letter:
The announcement of the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, has brought to the memory of the Corfiots an important, international personage.
Prince Philip was born and baptized a Christian Orthodox almost a century ago (1921) on the cosmopolitan island of Corfu, where he first captured the Mediterranean light and environment.
As the representatives of the Association of Corfu Travel Agents-AOCTA, we hereby express our deepest condolences to the Royal House of the United Kingdom and to our beloved British people. We hope that the memory of Prince Philip’s versatile and humanitarian action will contribute to the synergy and shared apperception of our two historical nations.
