Benitses Harbour ΄under the hammer΄ for 15-year lease

The lease includes the sea and land zones, the sports field, all sections of the main and auxiliary buildings, the infrastructure, furnishings, equipment etc.

Lease period

The lease will run until 11 December 2035, when the Municipality's concession ends. The lease may be extended for a further 10 years on the condition that the Ministry approves the extension of the Municipality's concession for the same amount of time.

What is included

Land Zone - 7,765 sq. metres with 2 main buildings

1. Building 1 - 181,53 sq. metres - For the use of the port authority and customs, visitors' toilets (including special needs), administrative services, refreshments area and storage space.
2. Building 2 - DEI substation, 100 sq. metres plus partially enclosed area 34.42 sq. metres.
3. Road junction.
4. Pump station
5. Water tank for fire safety
6. Lifting area for boats
7. Car park

Sea Zone - 44,187 sq. metres with potential for 96 berths.

Rental

Bids will start at €45,000 per year. The auction will take place on Thursday 3 March, 2021.
