Second homeless man taken to hospital

A second homeless man was taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon from Garitsa park. This time an order from the Prosecutor wasn't required as, according to municipal sources, he agreed to go to the hospital for examination, food and warmth.

According to the same sources, the possibility of placing him and Tony (the homeless man taken to hospital yesterday) in the Seniors Care Home is being looked into. At the same time the urgent need for accommodation or rooms in town hotels is also being looked into so that there is a facility available when needed.

It was stressed to Enimerosi that each case is different and must be treated in that way.
