"Corfu General Hospital has appointed a new auxiliary haematology specialist on a 3-year contract.
This appointment solves the problem of the gap that was left in the Haematology Department following the sudden resignation of the previous haematologist for personal reasons (moving abroad).
In the period prior to this appointment haematology patients were served by doctors from the hospital's haematology, blood donation, thalassaemia, oncology and pathology departments and we are grateful to them for their great efforts.
We would like to wish the new doctor Theodora Samoili every success in her new position and welcome her to our hospital."
