CORFU. The plan to have online lessons without including those involved in sit-ins has been added to the pupils and teachers΄ list of grievances.
Corfu school pupils held a protest demonstration on Friday morning, 2 October, in an effort to put across their demands to the local community for better health conditions in schools.
In addition to their basic demands for a smaller number of pupils in classes and more cleaners and teachers, pupils and teachers are also protesting against the Education Ministry's intention to conduct lessons online but without those involved in sit-ins being allowed to take part.
The teachers' union ELME is holding a meeting this afternoon at Corfu 3rd High School, which will have two topics for discussion:
1. The Ministerial Decision for online lessons for the schools with sit-ins.
2. Plan of action
