Free admission to Capodistrias Museum on Sunday

CORFU. On the anniversary of the assassination of the first Governor of Modern Greece, 27 September, admission to the Capodistrias Museum will be free from 10:00 to 16:00.

On Sunday 27 September - the anniversary of the assassination of the first Governor of Modern Greece Ioannis Capodistrias - admission to the Capodistrias Museum and Centre of Capodistrias Studies will be free from 10:00 to 16:00.

The Museum calls on everyone to come and learn about the multifaceted personality of the great Corfu politician at the permanent exhibition in the only museum dedicated to the life, work and legacy of Ioannis Capodistrias.



The guided tour of the permanent exhibition is conducted in line with COVID measures with a maximum of 18 people allowed in the museum and mandatory use of masks. Individual audio guides are available to all visitors via the free online app for mobile devices developed by the Capodistrias Museum to aid the protection of the public's health. The cafe in the garden is open at the same times as the museum.

Throughout the day the museum will provide online information about the assassination of the Governor on its social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
