Kidney sufferer΄s final test negative - following initial positive result

CORFU. The final and confirmatory test for the kidney sufferer visiting Corfu came back negative.
The patient was asymptomatic but the initial coronavirus test was positive. Due to the fact that he belonged to a high-risk group it was initially decided to transfer him to the designated hospital in Ioannina for his regular dialysis. The matter became a cause for concern for dialysis patients in Corfu.
The President of Corfu Kidney Patients Association Panayiotis Kormaris said, "We would like to inform everyone that the third test that was carried out at the hospital showed that the kidney patient who was initially said to be a positive coronavirus case is, in fact, negative. Let's all remain calm and cautious! On behalf of all kidney patients we would like to thank those who handled the possible case in the proper way."
