Violations of COVID measures nationwide

ATHENS. Police are carrying out checks nationwide to ensure that measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Monday 3 August there were the following violations:
346 not wearing masks or not keeping proper distances. Fines of 150 Euros were imposed as follows:
91 in Attica
45 in Central Macedonia
38 in Thessaloniki
28 in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
27 in Thessaly
23 in Crete
22 in Epirus
18 in Mainland Greece
16 in Western Greece
11 in South Aegean
9 in Peloponnese
9 in Ionian Islands
7 in North Aegean
2 in Western Macedonia
Since 1 August there has been a total of 961 violations which were each fined 150 Euros.
There were 3 business violations (staff not using masks, sq. metres per customer, distances between tables/chairs, appointments not being made etc.)
Since 1 August there have been 30 related violations
There were 6 cases of travellers not having completed the PLF.
Inspections are continuing to protect public health.
