CORFU. A woman from Vouniatades did a test at Corfu Hospital but her condition deteriorated quickly and she was intubated and procedures have begun to transfer her to a designated COVID hospital.
It became necessary for an elderly Corfu woman (86 years old, according to information available) to be transferred to a designated COVID hospital today, Tuesday 4 August.
The woman from Vouniatades went to the hospital today having being tested positive for COVID-19.
However, her condition deteriorated very quickly and was intubated and immediately placed in the hospitla's Special Unit.
The procedures immediately began to transfer her to a designated COVID hospital. The initial information says that this will probably be Patras University Hospital.
