Yanis Varoufakis arrives in Corfu - with a full programme ahead of him

CORFU. The MeRA25 leader Yanis Varoufakis arrived in Corfu on Sunday 12 July.
Yanis Varoufakis arrived in Corfu on Sunday 12 July and has a full programme of meetings on Monday 13th including an open meeting to present his party's economic policies.
Mr. Varoufakis was able to visit the Corfu Philharmonic Society and 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society along with Parliamentary Vice-President and MeRA25 MP Sophia Sakorafa (who had visited the 'Capodistrias' Philharmonic Society earlier). He then had a working meeting with local members and friends of the party in Liapades.
Reffering to Erimitis and the NCH Capital investment, Yanis Varoufakis once again accused the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of plundering and selling-off property.
On Monday morning Yanis Varoufakis visited Temploni landfill to find out about the waste management problems and meet locals.
Next on his programme is a visit to Corfu General Hospital to meet the administration as well as doctors' and workers' unions.
At 18:00, accompanied by MeRA25 MPs Sakorafa, Bakadima and Apatzidi, there will be a series of meetings at the Ionian Parliament with representatives from local organisations to discuss local issues and problems.
