Airlift for motorcyclist injured in road accident outside Polykliniki

The motorcyclist, who had been hospitalised at Corfu General Hospital with multiple injuries for ten days after being involved in a road accident, was flown to the mainland early this afternoon, Thursday 4 June.

The accident took place on 25 May outside Polykliniki.



The motorcyclist collided with a car outside the Polykliniki on the morning of 25 May and was thrown off his bike and trapped under the road barriers.

He had to be freed with the help of the Fire Service before being taken to hospital.
