According to Corfu Port Authority, a Coastguard patrol found two amateur fishermen fishing with rods from a boat at Astrakeri harbour on Wednesday (6/5) evening. They had caught fish weighing 19.5kg in total - 9.5kg over the limit allowed.
The local Port Authority fined the men and the catch was confiscated and given to a charitable organisation.
