ATHENS. Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias sent a strong message to everyone following the two cases with churches in Koukaki and Corfu.

Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias began his update on Monday 13 April by referring to the two cases, including Corfu Archbishop Nektarios, where clerics went against the orders of the Government and the Holy Synod

Mr. Hardalias sent a strong message to everyone, stressing the following:

"Services will be behind closed doors and churches will be closed right through Easter Week.

The law will be carried out without any exceptions. The vast majority adhered to the orders apart from two exceptions.

They are not 'better believers' than anyone else and they put people's lives in danger.

Visits to the houses of family and friends are not allowed over Easter."
