ATHENS. "If we relax, the virus will destroy us," the Deputy Minister said referring to those who come up with tricks to violate the lockdown.
At the daily Ministry of Health update the Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias announced that the lockdown has been extended for another three weeks to 27 April. "If we relax, the virus will destroy us," he said referring to those who come up with tricks to violate the lockdown.
He also announced that there is now a national helpline 10306 for psychological support for those that need it.
Prof. Tsiodras gave the latest data which shows that the USA has the largest number of cases and in Europe Spain has now overtaken Italy with the largest number of cases.
He said that he wasn't providing this information in order to scare us but to demonstrate how quickly the virus spreads even in countries with the best health services.
