Which transactions are no longer available in person at banks

ATHENS. The Hellenic Bank Association has announced new measures to restrict movement by members of the public due to coronavirus.
In its statement today, Tuesday 24 March, the Hellenic Bank Association announced the following measures to limit transactions in person:
- Withdrawals of up to €400 only at ATMs with a debit card.
- Deposits of cash up to €1,000 only at ATMs with a debit card.
- Payments of bills such as public services, phone, pay-TV, insurance etc via internet/mobile banking, ATM or APS. Bills cannot be paid in cash to the bank tellers.
- Bank account updates (latest transactions and balance) via internet/mobile banking or ATM. Bank books will not be updated at the banks.
"For your convenience please use your bank debit card and your password for internet banking," says the statement.
