Phivos Kakavitsas comments on the artificial iris implantation at Corfu Hospital

CORFU. "This was the work of the previous administration as the operation was planned six months ago," said former Hospital Director Phivos Kakavitsas.
The former Hospital Director's comments followed the announcement of the first artificial iris implantation in Greece at Corfu Hospital. According to Mr. Kakavitsas, the purchase had been made in the summer of 2019 and the operation was postponed for reasons related to the health of the patient.
Mr. Kakavitsas congratulated the doctors on social media: "Congratulations to the Director Spyros Drazinos and the Ophthalmology Clinic, which, since December has had four ophthalmologists for the first time."
