Protests against drilling at Regional Council meeting in Corfu

The members of Fossil Free Corfu submitted their demand to the Council, which was read out by the Ionian Islands Regional Council President. During the reading the group's members held up small signs protesting against drilling.

Council President Nikos Mouzakitis asked for the matter to be discussed at the next regular Council meeting. Along with Fossil Free Corfu members of the international group Fridays for Future and the local party 'Ekkinisi' also took part in the protest.
