Central Corfu Municipal Christmas events in Old Town Hall Square

CORFU. The Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands has issued an announcement about this year΄s Christmas events and activities in the Old Town Hall Square.
Announcement from Deputy Mayor for Culture Chrysoula Tombrou:
"The Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands is organising a series of activities and events for Christmas 2019 and New Year in the Old Town Hall Square for the first time from 21 December to 3 January.
There will be cultural, entertainment and educational events such as Philharmonic concerts, choirs, musical groups, theatrical performances, children's fairy tales and games, construction and face painting, meeting Santa Claus and sending letters. All the events will take place 11:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 - 22:00.
The square and 'San Giacomo' Old Town Hall will be lit up and there will be small wooden huts with various Christmas themes and lots of decorations.
The programme is already being prepared with concerts, performances and many other activities and a lot of interest has been expressed from cultural organisations and volunteers who wish to take part.
We invite all the associations and groups in the Municipality who wish to take part and anyone who wants to volunteer to help to contact the Municipal Cultural Department on 26610 32779 Monday to Friday 10:00 - 13:00 for information on the events and to register."
