Strong earthquake near Kythira

KYTHIRA. There was a strong earthquake in the sea between Chania and Kythira at 09:23 this morning.
According to the European-Mediterranean Institute, the earthquake was 6 Richter whereas the Geodynamic Institute initially measured it at 6 Richter but then changed it to 5.7.
The epicentre was 74km west of Chania and had a depth of 60km. The tremor was felt in many places in Greece including Attica and even Corfu.
