CORFU. The extreme weather conditions in Corfu in the last few days wreaked damage to roads and infrastructure.
The shore road on Garitsa Bay was badly hit by the waves including sections which have recently been repaired and restored. Damage was also done at the iconic Anemomylos.
The strong winds and rain ripped up paving stones and even displaced rocks in an area frequented by bathers.
It remains to be seen who will get the contract to repair the damage and when it will be done!
