CORFU. There has been subsidence in the road outside Vrachos Restaurant in Paleokastritsa.
The restaurant owner Yiannis Kontostanos told Enimerosi that there is a 'crater' approximately 6 metres wide in front of the property which was caused by the sea which eroded the wall and damaged the asphalt.
The subsidence is right next to the restaurant foundations. The Municipal Technical Works Department has been informed as well as the Civil Protection department and police have closed off the road.
