Antonis Mavropoulos, President of the International Solid Waste Association, talks to Enimerosi

Antonis Mavropoulos spoke to Enimerosi and likened Temploni to football goalposts. "Whatever we do in Temploni, if we don't improve waste management in the town and villages - the costs and efficiency of collection and mainly recycling with sorting at source - so that only half of the waste that goes now goes to Temploni, we will once again have a serious waste management crisis."



Antonis Mavropoulos has been invited to today's meeting organised by Waste Watch Corfu on The Modern European Dimension in Waste Management and will be one of the main speakers.
