CORFU. An innovative seminar on using computer systems for the management of wine varieties and vineyard cultivation.
The seminar is being organised by the Ionian University Informatics Department and is aimed at professional and amateur viticulturists and wine producers.
This 2nd Seminar aims to promote innovative 'smart' agricultural technology and will also present the results to date of the project "EVINOS - Smart vine variety selection & management using ICT", which is funded by the Ionian Islands Regional Operational Programme.
The seminar will take place on Thursday 3 October starting at 11:30 in the 'Aretaios' building in the former Psychiatric Hospital - Tsirigoti Square 7.
The seminar is aimed at the academic community (lecturers and teachers, scientists and students) as well as the general public (farmers, businesspeople, chambers, local and regional authorities etc.). The main aim is to bring together agri-food experts, scientists and the general public and demonstrate the potential of innovative technological applications in agricultural life.
