CORFU. Tragic end to search for missing 71-year-old.
Following an organised search by the Coast Guard and other rescuers, he was, unfortunately, found dead in the sea at Ai Gordis just a few metres from the shore, according to initial information.
Boats from the Port Authority and the Coast Guard took part in the search along with divers and volunteers.
A statement from the Coast Guard is expected.
