Young Corfu water-skier in final of European Water Ski Championships

ROQUEBRUNE. On 27 August Young Corfu water-skier Petros Trifonas qualified for the final in the IWWF Europe and Africa Tournament Youth Championships 2019.
The competition is taking place in Roquebrune, South France from 27 to 31 August and Petros is part of the Greek Water Ski Team along with 7 other team members.
There are 135 competitors aged 13 - 17 from 20 European countries taking part in the Championships. In the qualifying round Petros took 9th place out of 34 competitors with a personal best performance and qualified for the final on Friday 30th.
It should be noted that Petros is one year younger than the other competitors in his category.
