12-year-old Corfu boy to receive water-skiing award in Ioannina

IOANNINA. Petros Tryfonas is the Greek 2017 Under-12 champion and Greek record holder for the same age group as well as being a member of the pre-national water skiing team.
On Wednesday 21st March in Ioannina the best athletes and their coaches in the Ioannina region last year will be presented with awards. One of these will be the 12-year-old Corfu water skier Petros Tryfonas. As Corfu doesn’t have a water ski club or the proper training facilities, Petros is a member of the Ioannina water skiing club ‘Pamvotis’.
He is the Greek 2017 Under-12 champion and Greek record holder for the same age group as well as being a member of the pre-national water skiing team.
This award comes as a reward for his efforts in 2017 and will give him encouragement coming up to the new season.
