New waiting room for chemotherapy patients at Corfu Hospital

The waiting room is located outside the clinic's new location on the 3rd floor of the hospital. As well as providing privacy the new room has been set up with a priority system to inform patients when it is their turn - to prevent people from crowding round the door to the examination room as has been happening up to now.

The room is comfortable, with a television, loudspeaker system and air-conditioning, thus improving the service provided to this vulnerable group of patients.

The extension to the tube mail system has also been completed in the clinic so that patients and family no longer have to go to the hospital pharmacy before treatment.
