"Sissy - The Corfu Years": Special event at Achillion Palace

CORFU. The Albert Cohen Society is organising a special event "Sissy - The Corfu Years" dedicated to Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
The event will focus especially on the years she spent in Corfu.
"Sissy - The Corfu Years" will take place at the Achillion Palace on Sunday 4 August at 20:30 and at the Palace of St. Michael and St. George on Monday 5 August at 20:30.
On 4 August the evening will include a theatre performance directed by Petros Gallias, music from Gastouri 'Omonia' Philharmonic Band and dances from the time of the Empress performed by the Geneva Fêtes costumées dance group.
The evening will close with cocktails in the Achillion Palace gardens.
Due to limited space seating will only be available for those who have registered their names.
The event at the Palace of St. Michael and St. George on Monday 5 August will begin with dances from the time of the Empress performed by the Geneva Fêtes costumées dance group. This will be followed by the opening of the Empress Elisabeth exhibition "Sissy in Corfu", which will include exhibits relating to her life in Corfu.
There will also be a short film about the life of Sissy produced in 2019 by the national Austrian TV channel ORF.
The evening will end with cocktails in the Palace colonnade.
