Death of young Spanish tourist in Glyfada

CORFU. There was another death on Monday afternoon in Glyfada.
The cause of death is as yet unknown. At around 11:00 yesterday morning the unconscious man was spotted by other bathers on the beach in front of the hotel at the southern end.
An ambulance was called immediately and he was taken to hospital. Attempts to resuscitate the 38-year-old Spanish tourist, however, were fruitless.
The sea on the west coast of the island, including Glyfada, was rough on Monday but Enimerosi does not know whether his death was due to drowning or some other natural cause.
