Blood tests without appointment at the hospital for the duration of the private diagnostic centres΄ strike

CORFU. Following the decision of the private diagnostic centres to continue their strike and to conduct tests only with direct payment from patients.
Corfu General Hospital, following a decision by the Health Minister Mr Xanthos and bearing in mind the large cost to the public (even though it is temporary) at the private centres, has made the following arrangements:
All members of the public, for as long as the private diagnostic centres are on strike, can come to the hospital without an appointment from 07:30 to 14:00 daily for blood tests that have been electronically prescribed by their doctors.
Corfu Health Centre (former IKA), which is next to the old KTEL bus station, is also conducting tests without an appointment until 11:00 daily.
